A man in his eighties has suffered facial injuries in a break-in involving four men.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary that took place in Desborough Road between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Friday night.

Four men broke into the house while two people were inside.

One of the occupants was a man in his eighties. He suffered facial injuries during the incident and required hospital treatment.

He has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police has called for any witnesses to come forward and help with enquiries.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Dan Page, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please get in touch.

“I’d appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to check any dash-cam footage in case it has captured something that could help the investigation.

“Also, I’d ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on Friday evening to please contact us.
