A former bar in Marlow has been damaged in an accident with a skip lorry.

Clayton's Bar had been at 16 Oxford Street for 11 years before shutting its door for the final time in May.

However, on Tuesday (August 23), the site was damaged by what appeared to be a skip lorry colliding into the front of the building.

Marlow Town Council has confirmed that the building isn't being pulled down or demolished and said the incident is a "private matter".

A spokesperson also said that the freeholder is currently handling with the situation.

Hazell and Jefferies Ltd, the skip lorry pictured, were contacted for a comment and said that the incident has been handed over to their insurance.

No further comment was made from the company.
