An Amersham woman has been fined after she assaulted a man in Marlow.
Lucy Elliston, 35, of The Bramblings, has been ordered to pay a £120 fine as well as £107 in court costs.
At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 4, Elliston pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating.
The court heard how on January 13, Elliston assaulted a man in Marlow.
After hearing the evidence, the magistrates found that serious punishment would not be needed, and that a fine was the most appropriate action.
No compensation was awarded to the victim as "no loss or damage" was caused in the incident.
