A High Wycombe man who stole £20 has been ordered to pay up more than £1,000.
Nitu Chopra, 43, of Desborough Road, has been fined £300 and told to pay £809 in costs after he was found guilty of theft.
Chopra had denied the charge but was found guilty by the magistrates following a trial at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 5.

The court heard how on May 21, 2021, in High Wycombe, Chopra stole £20 cash from another man.
Following the guilty verdict, Chopra was ordered to pay the fine and costs in £100 instalments.
He was not ordered to pay compensation as the stolen £20 had been repaid.
