A drink driver has been given a lengthy driving ban after he was caught over the limit.
James Jeffs, aged 48, of School Lane in Chalfont St Peter, has been disqualified from driving for 40 months after he was caught drunk behind the wheel on September 2, 2021.
When he was pulled over in Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter - the Volkswagen driver had 165 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. The legal limit is 107 milligrams.
At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 5, Jeffs pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving.
After hearing the evidence, the justices gave Jeffs a lengthy 40-month driving ban.
He was also ordered to carry out 175 hours of unpaid work within 12 months, and made to pay £180 in costs.
