A 26-year-old man has been jailed after pleading guilty to a number of drug crimes in High Wycombe.

Mohammed Mahrban, of Chiltern Avenue within the town, was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, August 23 to five years and one month behind bars.

He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, heroin, and one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, crack cocaine.

Thames Valley Police officers conducted a search at Mahrban’s home address on Thursday, February 3 this year, where the authorities found heroin and crack cocaine with a street value of £42,000, along with other drug paraphernalia.

Investigating officer PC Ben Pearmain, of the South Buckinghamshire Stronghold team, said: “Thames Valley Police will not tolerate those who attempt to exploit our communities by bringing drugs into them.

“Like Mohammed Mahrban, it is only a matter of time before we arrest you, stop your supply, seize your drugs, and you are jailed.”
