Residents in the Chilterns experienced a power cut today.
An unplanned outage cut out homes in Amersham, Little Chalfont and Chesham today (August 31).
Homes in the postcode area HP7 9 had their electricity restored after 9am, UK Power Networks estimated.
As of 5pm today, the provider was unable to confirm when customers' electricity would be switched back on in HP5 3 postcode area in Chesham and Lye Green.
The provider said: “We’re sorry for any disruption this may be causing you.
“A fault has occurred on a piece of our electrical equipment which controls the power to your home.”
