A 21-year-old man from High Wycombe has been arrested for theft of a pedal cycle and is currently in custody.
This is in relation to an incident that happened at around 5.20am today [Thursday, September 1], after a bike was taken from Peaty Court, Princes Gate in the town.
The offender cut the bike lock off an electric mountain bike and tried to ride off with it.

The bike is a black and red electric Carrera MTB.
Investigating officer PC Cameron Parker-Graham, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We would like to appeal to the owner of this bike to please come forward.
“Also anybody who may have been in the area and witnessed this theft should please get in touch.

“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220392415.
“Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
