A driver over the limit has been hospitalised following a horror crash on the M40.
Both the driver and the passenger were not wearing seatbelts during the crash on the M40 northbound between junction three (Loudwater) and four (High Wycombe) this morning.
The passenger suffered minor facial injuries as Thames Valley Police (TVP) open enquiries into the crash.
A TVP social media post said: "Collision on the M40 N/B J3-4 this morning.
"Occupants not wearing seatbelts. Driver impaired through alcohol and hospitalised. Passenger escaped with minor facial injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing. It’s simple, don't drink and drive!"
