SCHOOL uniforms have been bought with a little bit of room to grow, shoes are shiny and new pencil cases are packed and ready for the all-important first day at school.
Proud parents all over Bucks will be going to great lengths this week to ensure their children go off to their lessons bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and looking smart.
Many will record the momentous morning with a photo.
But what will greet them at the end of a busy school day? Will their offspring have enjoyed themselves, made friends and learned lots of new things - and will they manage to make it home with two shoes and still in their own clothes?
