The Grade II Listed building has been situated on the corner of The Causeway and Station Road.

Bucks Free Press:

Property website Duncan Bailey Kennedy has listed the site for sale as a freehold with the potential for redevelopment.

Last year in April 2021, the Bucks Free Press reported on plans submitted to Buckinghamshire Council to redevelop the entire site and ‘sell off’ part of the property to incorporate a new restaurant.

Proposals included relocating the bakery at 7 Station Road to the rear courtyard, where a new wall and flat roof for the new bakery is planned.

Next, both the ground and first floor of 7 Station Road will be converted from a bakery and retail space to restaurant use.

Lastly, a garden building at 87 The Causeway will be used for part of the bakery extension, reports indicate.

Council documents indicate the intention is to consolidate the new bakery, and ‘sell off’ 7 Station Road for use as a restaurant by a “yet unknown” new owner.

The building is listed for sale for £4,500,000 and it's to be sold with vacant possession apart from the ground floor of 7 Station Road.

The shop on the ground floor of 7 Station Road is currently let for 3 years expiring September 2023 at a rent of £17,000 per annum exclusive with a mutual option to break at anytime after September 2021 on 6 months notice.
