A GROUP holding a belated Christmas dinner for the elderly are appealing for donations of seasonal treats.
Waltham Forest Contact the Elderly were unable to hold their annual Christmas meal at the traditional time of year due to illness, and have rescheduled it for March 16.
Although a local cafe has agreed to cook the full festive roast, organisers are having trouble getting hold of items such as Christmas crackers, plum puddings.
Anyone able to donate their leftover Christmas paraphernalia should email FreecycleWalthamForest@yahoogroups.com
