In response to newspapers and magazines being removed from libraries.
I HAVE been going to Beaconsfield library for over 60 years.
The mainstay was when I smashed most bones in my foot and hobbled to library on my own to read papers, and magazines as a distraction from pain and to get out of house as I was living alone.
After lockdown I wrote to MP as libraries were far too slow to reopen and allow computer access again.
Before Covid I encouraged and attended local author events, police and medical events ...
Beaconsfield library was becoming essential nucleus for all nationalities...
Please bring all these much needed opportunities back... as a council tax payer let’s do everything not to make this a winter of discontent.
