A High Wycombe woman labelled as a "professional criminal" has been jailed after she stole nearly £100-worth of baby clothes.
Claire Khan, 37, of West Wycombe Road, has been locked up for four weeks after she committed multiple offences in High Wycombe.
On July 23, she went on a High Wycombe stealing spree, lifting perfume worth £47.50 from Marks and Spencer and then taking £98.50-worth of baby clothes from Morrisons.
At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 24, Khan pleaded guilty to two charges of theft, one charge of being drunk and disorderly and one charge of failing to surrender to custody.
After hearing the evidence, the Magistrates decided immediate custody was the most appropriate punishment, referring to Ms Khan as a "prolific offender" who "is operating as a professional criminal."
