DRIVERS in Marlow have been experiencing 'tailbacks' due to roadworks taking place.
The temporary traffic lights in Chapel Street at the junction of Dean Street came into effect on Tuesday, September 20 and is due to finish tomorrow (Thursday).
But since the roadworks have taken place, drivers have expressed their frustration over the delays.
Commenting on a local Facebook group Marlow Life, one resident said: "It honestly feels like a joke...I’ve never known a set of traffic lights to appear in the same place so often."
The original Facebook post warned drivers to avoid Chapel Street.
"Avoid Chapel Street, traffic lights outside Lidl causing tailbacks."
Buckinghamshire Council said: "Buckinghamshire Council are working to maintain the public highway and wish to apologise for any inconvenience during these essential highway maintenance. For more information please call 01296 395000"
