Decathalon in High Wycombe will close its doors for the final time this weekend.
The French sports goods retailer has announced the news with a notice at the front of the store.
The store will depart on Saturday (October 1) after first opening in the Eden Centre in 2017.
Located next to Boots and TK Maxx in the High Wycombe shopping centre, the 14,000sq ft store has two floors.
The notice said: "Our High Wycombe team has loved serving the local community.
"We want to let you know that employment will be preserved, with our teammates being offered alternative roles and relocation opportunities.
"Although we are closed, you can find tips and advice on our Decathlon Play platform.
"Thank you for all of your support."
The nearest Decathalon stores to High Wycombe will now be in Uxbridge and Reading.
Decathlon was established in 1976 in Lille, France and now has 1000 stores worldwide with 30 of them in the UK.
The store, which has a strong relationship with ASDA, sells its own brands alongside other recognizable names such as, Nike, Adidas, Garmin and FitBit.
