A pop-up shop announced it was looking for enthusiastic people to fill the vacancies for Christmas at its Buckinghamshire shop.

Cards for Good Causes revealed its plans to open a temporary pop-up charity shop at St Michael and All Angels church offering Christmas shoppers a chance to buy festive accessories under one roof in aid of tens of charities.

The Sycamore Road pop-up store has seasonal gifts, stocking fillers, wrap, decorations and tableware as well as a selection of religious cards, old masters, beautiful landscapes, festive favourites and animals.

CEO of Cards for Good Causes Jeremy Lune said: “We can’t wait to meet everyone this year in our shops!

"Please come volunteer with us, join us as a manager, or come and get your Christmas gifts whilst supporting the charities of your choice.”

Some of the more than 70 local and national charities helped this year include Diabetes UK, RNLI, British Heart Foundation, Alzheimers UK, Epilepsy UK and MS Society.

The new managers will help raise thousands of pounds for the charities.

Cards for Good Causes aims to raise £500,000 this Christmas across all its shops in the country, and in the last ten years they have raised more than £40 million for UK charities.

Both full and part-time vacancies are available from October until December for an hourly salary of £9.90 for applicants with Christmas spirit wanting to work in the heart of the community.
