A motorist in Milton Keynes has been fined after being caught driving with illegally tinted windows.
In the afternoon of Wednesday, September 28, officers from Thames Valley Police noticed the car had a darker shade than usual and requested the driver to pull over.
A Seat was stopped was in Milton Keynes due to the dark tints on the side windows. The legal minimum transmission of light through side windows is 70%. This car has 31% as its lowest. Driver has been fined and advised to remove tints. #TPBshift #PC6523 #PC7758 pic.twitter.com/z6SNwFober

It was later revealed that the legal minimum transmission of light through side car windows is 70 per cent, whilst this vehicle was at 31 per cent.
The motorist has since been fined and they have been advised to remove the tints.
