BRAZEN thieves targeted drivers in broad daylight at a Buckinghamshire retail park.
A man lost his catalytic converter after his parked vehicle caught the eye of thieves at B&Q car park in Loudwater on Friday (September 23).
He warned other shoppers after the incident through the neighbourhood app Nextdoor.
A resident commented: “There are professional gangs cruising the various car parks stealing catalytic convertors.
“I had mine nicked from the station car park in May. The police are having a tough time apprehending them but are working on it.”

Thames Valley Police confirmed it received a report of a catalytic converter theft from a car in a car park on London Road around 1.15pm on Friday.
The force said: “Following enquiries, the investigation has been filed pending further information coming to light.
“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or online, quoting reference 43220428008.”
Recently thieves tried to steal the catalytic converter off a parked car at Tesco Superstore in Amersham, but took off after being interrupted by another shopper.
A B&Q spokesperson said: “We’re aware of the police investigation into the theft of catalytic converters in the local area.”
