Firefighters were called to an outdoor skip blaze in a Buckinghamshire town on Tuesday.
The incident was reported around 9.48pm on Tuesday (October 4) after a skip caught fire on Bellingdon Road in Chesham.
One appliance and crew from Amersham attended the scene, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
The service said: “Firefighters used one hose reel jet, one main jet and thermal imagery camera to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.”
To prevent bin and skip fires bins and rubbish should be stored away from building walls and never in the communal areas, Bucks Fire and Rescue Service advised.
Skips should be located away from the property and collection arranged promptly once filled, the fire service said.
