A popular Marlow bar is set to reopen under new management.
Formerly known as Clayton’s Bar, the venue is set to open this weekend with a new name of Clayton’s Lounge.
The new bar, club, and kitchen on Oxford Street will host its launch night on Saturday, October 8.
In February the previous owner, Antosh Same decided not to renew the lease revealing he hopes to spend more quality time with his family.
He described the start of his ownership as “tricky” opening up during a recession and taking on a building that had been empty for eight months.
Antosh said: “It is and has been a really turbulent time in the bar industry with a great amount of uncertainty still around, however, what I do know is that I no longer want to be doing it.
“I have a wife and a four-year-old and they deserve to have the best version of me and not the one that’s broken after a 12-hour shift until three in the morning.”
Since he left the bar, the site was damaged by what appeared to be a skip lorry colliding into the front of the building.
The building has now been repaired with the bar getting a new paint job and signage.
