Three men forced their way into a Wooburn Green home with a knife before knocking a man unconscious and throwing a woman to the floor in an aggravated burglary.

Between 7pm and 7.20pm on Monday (October 10), three men knocked on the door of an address in North Croft before forcing it open and threatening one of the occupants, a woman in her seventies, with a knife.

Another occupant of the address, a man in his seventies, came down the stairs but was knocked unconscious by the men who also pushed the woman to the floor.

One of the burglars searched the upstairs of the property, but it is not believed anything was taken.

The woman managed to leave through the rear of the property and shouted for help but she was dragged back inside.

After this, the offenders, who are described as three white men, wearing black clothing and face coverings then left.

It is believed they may have been travelling in a light-coloured car, potentially a silver estate.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Bradley Haynes, based at Amersham police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“We’d also appeal to anyone who may have doorbell footage or dash-cam footage of the area around this time of the incident to please check it in case it may have captured something that could help our investigation.
