Bonfire night is just around the corner.

Multiple organised firework displays are set to light up the skies across Buckinghamshire on Guy Fawkes night.

With things looking slightly more normal following the Covid-19 pandemic, many are back with a bang in 2022 - here are some of the best displays being held this year.

November 4

HIGH WYCOMBE: Hamilton Academy in Hampden Road is back with its popular fireworks display, with gates opening at 6pm. As well as the fireworks at 7pm, there will be rides to enjoy, glow toys and hot food and drinks. Tickets on the gate will be £3 for children, £5 for adults and £15 for families and pre-booked at hamiltonacademy.org.uk will be £3 for children, £5 for adults and £15 for families. Under 5s go free.

CHESHAM: Enjoy a licensed bar, hot food and covered terraces from which to watch the fireworks spectacular at Chesham United Football Club at The Meadow in Amy Lane. Gates open from 6pm with the fireworks expected to start at 7.30pm and tickets are £8 for adults, £6 for under-18s, under 5s go free. Buy tickets here.

AMERSHAM: Amersham and Chiltern RFC are hosting an evening filled with BBQ food and fireworks at their ground at Ash Grove, Weedon Lane, at 5.15pm. The fireworks are expected to start at 7pm. Family tickets are £25, adults £10 and children £5.

November 5

NAPHILL: The Naphill fireworks display takes place on Saturday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm at the village hall at The Crick. Tickets cost £5 with proceeds going towards community projects. There will be live music, bar, bbq and soup kitchen available. Its best to bring cash to the event and it is best to arrive using the 300 bus.

BEACONSFIELD: The town’s cricket club at Wilton Park, London Road, will host a spectacular fireworks display from 7pm. There will be a ‘Big Bang’ musical fireworks display and bonfire featuring stars from Aylesbury Waterside Theatre’s pantomime Aladdin, as well as an earlier ‘Little Bang’ fireworks display and bonfire for younger children from 5pm. Early Bird General Admission tickets (up to 4th November) are available at £10, with a family ticket at £34. FLACKWELL HEATH: There will be two displays for the price of one with a smaller display for children to enjoy and then a larger one for adults. The fun kicks off from 5.30pm at the school field near to the scout hut at the junction of Highlea Avenue and Chapel Road. Beer, mulled wine, tea, coffee and hot dogs can be bought on the night. All profits will be split equally between Carrington Schools PTA, Juniper Hill PTA and 1st Flackwell Heath Scout Group.

MARLOW BOTTOM: It’s another year of the Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza. Burford School will once again host the award-winning Star Fireworks. Come with the family, enjoy the side shows, bar, food, music and, of course, the largest aerial display in Marlow.
From 5.30pm, enjoy a Rebellion bar and bbq food. Tickets online at £7 for the over 13s, £5 for children aged four to 12, or £22 for a family.
