Remember, remember...your jacket this Bonfire night because the Met Office has just issued its forecast for Buckinghamshire.

The national weather service has released its weather forecast for Friday, November 5, otherwise known as Guy Fawkes Night. 

If you're hoping to catch a professional display with the family or you prefer to whip out a sparkler in the garden, here's the weather you can expect for the fireworks this Saturday.

Met Office weather forecast for Bonfire Night

The Met Office predicts that Saturday will start out with heavy rain but lucky for us, it is set to change to sun by the afternoon.

The weather forecaster says that there is a 70-80% chance of showers between 6 am - 9 am in the morning but this will drop to 20% by 3 pm.

Temperatures will range from 8C to 13C throughout the day and it will feel like 7C in the evening so wrap up warm if you are heading out to a display.

BBC weather forecast for Bonfire Night

Meanwhile, the BBC also predicts that we'll need to remember, remember an umbrella this Guy Fawkes night.

We can expect light showers early on with a moderate breeze which will continue throughout the day. 

Our chances of rain drops throughout the day from 60% at 11 am to 36% by 5 pm with temperatures ranging from 9C to 14C.

According to the forecast, it should be dry by the time we head out to the bonfire and will be around 11C to 12C in the evening.
