A National Trust site in Buckinghamshire is currently the third most searched for location on Google.

Waddesdon Manor, which is based in the village of Waddesdon near Aylesbury, has an estimated search of 58,000 hits on the site, with this number expected to grow as we reach the Christmas period.

Conducted by jorviktricycles.com, the top 10 list revealed that Waddesdon Manor was the only one to feature from the Home Counties.

A spokesperson from the website said: “Waddesdon Manor has a French renaissance chateau style and period interiors which, alongside the collections of contemporary art, make it an art lover's dream to explore.

“Throughout the year there is an exciting array of events for all the family to enjoy, however during the Winter, the grounds really come to life.

“From festive eats and market stalls, to twinkling trees and light illumination shows, it’s a Winter Wonderland.”
