A man who robbed a pensioner at a cemetery and a money launderer – the lowest of the low have been jailed in Bucks in the past month.

Despite the barristers strikes, Aylesbury Crown Court has still seen plenty of criminals face justice and receive lengthy prison terms.

Shaun Walker

Bucks Free Press:

A man was jailed in October for robbing an elderly man in his 80s at the Wycombe Cemetery.

Shaun Walker, aged 37, of Carrington Road, Aylesbury, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of robbery at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday (October 10).

At around 1.15pm on July 7 this year, Walker attacked the man dragging him to the floor from behind and punching him in the chest multiple times before pulling his shoulder bag over his head and running away with it in the direction of Priory Road.

Veshal Madlani

Bucks Free Press:

Madlani admitted money laundering offences after he stored millions of pounds in cash from an international cocaine network in High Wycombe has been jailed.

Veshal Madlani, of Rutland Street, High Wycombe was part of an organised crime group (OCG) based in the south east.

The group was responsible for the nationwide supply of cocaine.

Madlani's home became the hub of the OCG’s operations, where they stored and counted millions of pounds of criminal proceeds generated from the group’s extensive drug supply network.  

Katarina Vargova

Bucks Free Press:

Three drug-dealers were sentenced last month at Reading Crown Court after police seized £182,000 worth of drugs.

Katarina Vargova, 36 of Ravens Court, High Wycombe pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs - cocaine and heroin.

Vargova was jailed for two years and one month.

Detective Sergeant Graham Holdsworth of the Serious and Organised Crime Unit said: “I hope this serves as an example that we do not tolerate the purchasing and distribution of drugs in our communities, and we will ferociously pursue those involved in serious and organised crime.”

Humza Hussain

Bucks Free Press:

A 22-year-old man from Aylesbury was jailed after pleading guilty to numerous drug crimes.

Humza Hussain, of Blackwater Drive, confessed to one count of being concerned in the supply of a controlled class A drug – namely cocaine, and one count of possessing a controlled class B drug – namely cannabis.

On March 9 this year, Hussain was stopped on Aylesbury's Bicester Road and was subsequently arrested.

A search of his address led to items relating to the supply of cocaine and an amount of cannabis being seized.

Benit Tshikuna

Bucks Free Press:

A DRUG dealer was jailed for supplying heroin after police busted into his home finding cocaine and cash inside.

Benit Tshikuna, 26, of Rydal Way, Bletchley, was arrested on July 13 after officers carried out a search warrant at a property.

Police found cocaine, heroine and more than £1,000 in cash inside the home.
