Fireworks were launched into a commercial building in High Wycombe on Halloween night.

At around 7:50pm on Monday (October 31), firefighters were called to Rutland Avenue to deal with the incident.

When they arrived there was a small amount of smoke was visible in the building.

The firefighters used a positive-pressure ventilation fan to help clear the smoke. 

After the incident, they provided advice and informed Thames Valley Police.

A Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Most people enjoy fireworks responsibly, however in the wrong hands they can cause real misery.

"Remember, fireworks are explosives, and they should be treated with respect and only used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the firework code.
