Buckinghamshire will pay its respects and remember the sacrifices of servicemen and women in a two-minute silence this Remembrance Day.
Observed every year since 1919, Remembrance or Armistice Day is marked on the anniversary of the end of World War I on November 11.
Remembrance Sunday falls on the second Sunday of November which means that it will be observed on November 13.
Services are being planned across the county to commemorate the contribution of the Armed Forces and their families from Britain and the Commonwealth.

Remembrance Day events in Buckinghamshire 2022
Aylesbury
Where: Aylesbury Market square
When: 10.45 am on Sunday, November 13
Led by Buckinghamshire Council Chairman Councillor Dev Dhillon, a wreath-laying service will take place at Aylesbury Market Square.
Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Countess Howe alongside representatives from the British Army, RAF, Royal Navy, Royal British Legion, Ellesborough Silver Band, veterans, and community organisations including Scouts, Brownies and Cadets will also be in attendance.
The public is also welcome to come along to pay tribute.
The Remembrance Sunday Parade will form up in Market Hill, on Sunday 13th November, at 10.00 am before the procession moves off at 10.30 am, walking through the town centre towards Castle Street. Buckingham
Where: Market Hill, St Peter and St Paul’s Church
When: 10 am on Sunday, November 13
The parade will gather at Market Hill from 10 am before heading off towards the town centre at around 10.30 am.
The procession will go towards Castle Street before concluding at St Peter and St Paul’s Church and the War Memorial there.
Milton Keynes
Where: Milton Keynes Rose, Campbell Park
When: 10.40 am on Friday, November 11
Everyone is welcome to join at a short observance of Armistice Day which is being led by Milton Keynes City Council.
The council asks those wanting to attend to arrive by 10.40 am.

Marlow
Where: Royal British Legion Headquarters,War Memorial on the Causeway.
When: 10. 35 am on Sunday, November 13
The procession will depart from the Royal British Legion Headquarters at approximately 10.35 am.
The public should be advised that High Street and Marlow Bridge will be closed to traffic from 8.30 am and there will be no parking from 8.00 am
All roads leading to the high street will also be closed for the parade which is due to arrive at the Memorial on the Causeway for 10.45am.
Deputy Lieutenant Air Vice Marshall Chris Elliot will be taking the Salute this year.

Princes Risborough
Where: St Marys Church
When: 10 am – 11.30 am on Sunday, November 13
The church service in St Mary’s Church will start at 10.00am.
Prayers and a wreath laying ceremony will follow the two-minute silence at a gathering in the Market Square at 11.00am.
