Three people have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) road policing team was alerted to a "dodgy" car used in previous keyless vehicle thefts.

The car was boxed in by a number of police vehicles before the arrests were made.

A TVP social media post said: "Milton Keynes automatic number plate recognition alerted us to this dodgy vehicle used in previous keyless vehicle thefts.

Boxed in by an armed police vehicle and roads policing unit.

"Three arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal, after items discovered within the car."
