The police in Buckinghamshire cracked down on illegal driving over the weekend.

A driver was spotted travelling without insurance in Amersham on Sunday November 13.

Thames Valley Police officers on patrol stopped a driver after his uninsured vehicle triggered the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, which is used to disrupt criminal activity across UK such as travelling criminals trying to avoid detection.

After the driver was pulled over “he quickly admitted he had no insurance and also that he did not have a driving licence,” the force said.
