An England supporter dressed as Spider-Man has painted several mini-roundabouts across High Wycombe and its surrounding areas with red crosses.
Spotted at the top and bottom of Treadaway Hill in Flackwell Heath and Loudwater, along with several sightings in Micklefield, the unique-looking St George’s cross has certainly got many people talking on social media.

Many have praised the individual who is to have believed to have painted the roundabouts in the early hours of Friday, November 18, just two days before the tournament in Qatar begins.
England’s first game of the World Cup this year is against the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday, November 21, which will begin at 1pm.

It is believed that the person in question is Stephen Mark Roberts, as two videos of a man painting the junctions as Peter Parker are directly linked to his personal Facebook page.

It is not the first time that mini-roundabouts in the town have been painted with a St George’s cross, as many were seen last summer when England reached the Euro 2020 final which they lost to Italy.
