Drivers have been warned about a number of roads that will close for Marlow's annual Santa's Fun Run.

On December 4, thousands of runners dressed in Santa outfits will take to the streets for the charity event run by the Rotary Clubs of Marlow.

The annual charity event will see runners congregate in Higginson Park from around 8.30am ready for a 9.30am start in the High Street.

This means Marlow Bridge will close at 9.20am and reopen at around 11.30am.

The High Street, Fieldhouse Lane, Lock Road, Mill Road and Station Road will all close at 9.30am and are scheduled to reopen at 11am.

Spittal Street will close at 9.20am and reopen at 10am whilst Glade Road will close at 9.20am and reopen at 10.20am.

Station Road, Dedmere Road, Fieldhouse Lane, Westhorpe Road and Wiltshire Road will close 9.20am and reopen at 10.30am.

Parkway will remain open throughout but people are asked to "drive with care".

Organisers say that the roads may open slightly earlier or later dependent on runner progress.

The road closures have all been authorised by relevant authorities and statutory warning signs will be deployed in advance.
