Police clamped down on untaxed cars on Buckinghamshire roads last week.
Together the Thames Valley Police’s Chesham Neighbourhood Policing Team and the DVLA targeted untaxed vehicles found in Chesham.
The operation on Tuesday (November 22) followed complaints from residents about untaxed cars lining up the streets.
Thames Valley Police said: “Some vehicle owners did not want to speak with the DVLA and decided that they would try and drive off.
“We had no choice but to deal with these vehicle owners at the roadside causing slight disruption.

“Hopefully a few more parking spaces have been made.”
In a video posted by TVP South Bucks, around 15 vehicles appeared to have ‘Police Aware’ warning sticker on their window and their wheels clamped with a yellow DVLA lock.
Several cars and vans were seen towed away, including an SUV and two BMWs.
Sergeant Roy Evans apologised on behalf of the Chesham Neighbourhood Team “to any local resident who were held up this morning” following the operation.
