HOME buyers in Buckinghamshire have a chance to snap up properties for a steal.

Eagle-eyed home buyers could snatch up a new home for a fraction of the average house price in the county known for its country manors and quaint villages at an auction.

In the past year, Buckinghamshire properties had the average price tag of around £483,000. Detached properties reached around £788,600 on average, semi-detached around £427,900 and terraced sold for around £344,500 according to Zoopla.

Eager buyers are reminded that the prices at auctions are guidelines only indicating the seller’s minimum expectation.

These homes are due to go under the hammer at online auctions before Christmas.

11A Desborough Park Road, High Wycombe

The two-bedroom maisonette boasts a fireplace, patio, covered parking space and communal rear garden only a 30 minute train journey away from London Marylebone.

The ground floor home is easy access away from High Wycombe town centre’s shopping, restaurants and train station.

This one-bedroom Iver bungalow could be yours for a guide price of £185,000 with easy access to M25, Iver Heath pubs, the tennis club and other services.

Located in a cul-de-sac, the ground floor accessible property needs a lot of love, including a revamp of the small rear garden, which comes with a shed.

In Iver, the average overall property price was £600,639 in the last year, while terraced houses sold for an average of £416,864.

Winslow Road, Buckingham

The cute cottage with one bedroom, bathroom and a reception is ideal for someone looking for a quiet new home in the countryside in Granborough village.

Sellers of the cottage are looking for offers over £169,000 for the freehold cottage at the online auction.

In addition to the double bedroom, the cottage offers a small paved area in the rear and front garden.

Aylesbury and its services are a 20 minute drive away or 25 minutes to Milton Keynes.

In Buckingham, average property price overall was around £433,000 in the last year, while terraced houses sold for an average of £325,142.

82 Harrowden, Milton Keynes

For £165,000 guided price, the two-bedroom and two-bathroom house with separate diner, lounge, kitchen and living room is value for money despite the bare bones state of the property.

Properties in Milton Keynes area sold for an average of £347,007 overall in the past year, while semi-detached reached an average price of £322,127 and terraced £277,880.
