Here is the moment Portsmouth manager Danny Cowley seem to reject being interviewed during the first-half of Pompey's 2-0 loss at Wycombe Wanderers.

The 2008 FA Cup winners fell to only their third league loss of the campaign versus the Chairboys on December 4, with the match being broadcasted live on Sky Sports.

Coined as the ‘Innovation Game’, it was the first live Football/Premier League fixture to include in-game interviews, along with viewings of the pre-game and half-time team talks.

Additionally, some of the players were mic’d up to give the viewing public at home a glimpse at what conversations are said on the pitch.

However, as the Sky crew approached Cowley for his thoughts with his side 1-0 down just before the break, the former Lincoln City boss looked like he turned away the chance to be spoken to.

In the 42nd minute of the match, Sky commentator Gary Weaver said, ‘let’s go down to pitch side to hear from Danny Cowley’, but within a few seconds, Cowley suggests with his hands that he did not fancy sharing his views with the broadcasters before continuing watching the game.

Weaver sarcastically responded with ‘what a fine word that was from Danny Cowley’ to save what was an awkward exchange.

However, Cowley did speak to the Sky team in the 78th minute of the contest in which he said: "We have played a lot better in the second-half and we are disappointed with the first-half [performance].

"When you come to Wycombe, you have to earn the right [to win] and we didn't do that in the first-half."

Wanderers scored 10 minutes later to secure only their third-ever league win over Portsmouth.

The result means Wycombe are now 10th in League One, whilst Portsmouth are eighth.

In each of those three victories, three clean sheets have been kept (1-0 2017, 1-0 2019, and 2-0 2022).
