A YELLOW weather warning for freezing fog has hit Buckinghamshire this morning.
The Met Office has issued a warning for 'dense and freezing' fog making slow and difficult journeys this morning.
The warning is in place until 11am today (December 11), as other parts of the country brace themselves for snow.
A warning was issued at 4.38am, where "areas of freezing fog will come and go, but could produce very impaired visibility (down to 50 or 100 metres in places) as well as slippery surfaces this morning. Although becoming less widespread and less thick by lunchtime, some places may be affected through much of the day."
What to expect
- Slower journey times by car, as well as possible delays to bus and train services
- Slippery surfaces, especially untreated ones, may prove an additional hazard
- There is a chance of delays or cancellations of flights
