Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Bastille will headline Buckinghamshire music festival Penn Fest.

The two-day family-friendly festival is back for another year and the former Oasis member will grace the stage near the picturesque village of Penn Street in July. 

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the critically-acclaimed multi-platinum band led by the iconic musician will perform on Friday, July 21.

Also performing on Friday night will be guitar legend Johnny Marr plus Supergrass frontman and Mercury Prize-nominated solo artist Gaz Coombes.

Appearing ahead of Bastille’s headline set on Saturday, July 22 will be Corinne Bailey Rae, DJ Fresh and Embrace.

The weekend will also see acts such as Craig Charles (It’s Not A Funk Soul Show), Not3s, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, The Cuban Brothers, Bad Manners among others.

PennFest organisers, Nick Billinghurst and Matt Smith said: “We’re so excited to announce the line-up for next year’s PennFest.

"With two such incredible, world-renowned headliners we feel it’s our strongest ever.

"It’s going to be epic!”

The weekend festival has been running since 2011 and has grown from humble beginnings as a village festival attracting 2,000 people into a hugely respected fixture on the UK festival circuit, attracting internationally renowned artists and a daily capacity crowd of 10,000.

PennFest will have an array of performers across its four stages with food and drink stalls, shops and activities on site.

Camping will be available on site from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23, with free hot showers in the camping area, as well as glamping and pre-pitched tents.
