A 100-year-old woman raised for than £1,000 for a local charity to celebrate her milestone birthday.
Jo Ashford, who is from Princes Risborough, asked her friends and family to not purchase any gifts, but instead, donate their money to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

A Go Fund Me page was set up and after their target was hit, Mrs Ashford presented a cheque to Nicola Bishop, who is the community fundraising manager for the charity.
The Air Ambulance were called out to 3,158 incidents across the Thames Valley during 2022, with the charity being based at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire.
