Social media popularity can be a very lucrative business if your content is entertaining or useful to your audience.

Some individuals have made millions of pounds through posting videos and photos on their online platforms, and for some, a singular tweet can lead you to earn more than a five-figure sum per day.

And as time goes on, we will see more ‘virtual celebrities’ take over our feeds and timelines.

So here are five popular online faces that hail from Buckinghamshire.

Will the Farmer

Born and bred in Bucks but currently enjoying the South African sun on Love Island, Will ‘the Farmer’ Young has got a strong online fan base with 1.5m followers and with nearly 40 million ‘likes’ on Tik Tok.

The farmer, who hails from the Aylesbury Vale, is known for his videos that tell the world how he feeds pigs, shears sheep, and other farmyard-based jobs.

And with his name getting more exposure through his time on the reality TV show, I have a feeling we will see more of Will the Farmer.

Leigh-Ann Pinnock

Hailing from High Wycombe, singer Leigh-Ann Pinnock burst onto the scene in 2011, after Little Mix won that year’s X Factor competition.

Multiple UK number-one singles and albums followed, so it was inevitable that a huge online presence was going to form.

Tracy Kiss

Arriving from Aylesbury, Tracy Kiss has a strong social media presence on Tik Tok, Twitter, and Instagram, respectively, collecting over two million followers.

A personal trainer by day, the online personality is known for her gym, healthcare, and relationship videos, but she is currently dabbling in producing adult-only content on Only Fans.

Additionally, at the beginning of the first coronavirus lockdown in March 2020, the then 32-year-old revealed that she had been drinking ‘sperm smoothies’ as a way to protect herself from the illness.

Openly revealing to the public that she consumed the bodily fluid on a daily basis, either ‘directly from her boyfriend ’ or ‘as part of a drink', she described the liquid as a ‘natural remedy'.

She told SWNS three years ago: “The quality of semen can tell a man a lot about his own health because if there’s a dramatic change in taste, texture, or volume, it can be an indicator of something sinister that a GP should check out.”

Kyle Hawley

Kyle, along with his family, have been running the award-winning Hi-Tide Fish & Chip shop in Aylesbury since 1997.

But since 2021, the 42-year-old has found fame through Tik Tok, amassing a total of 163,000 followers and over three million ‘likes’.
