A PHARMACY inside Sainsbury's supermarket will be closing its doors.
Pharmacy services are leaving over 200 supermarkets across the UK.
The Lloyds Pharmacy at Sainsbury’s in Taplow is set to close after the pharmacy company announced a closure plan for all the supermarket chain’s stores over the course of 2023.
The healthcare provider said closure timelines will vary for each individual branch and has not confirmed a date for the pharmacy leaving Taplow.
Lloyds Pharmacy said they are working to support employees through these changes.
A spokesperson from Sainsbury’s said they were planning to work with customers to ensure they can access alternative pharmacy provisions to meet their needs.
The supermarket chain is considering a range of options to make sure the space is used in the most beneficial way for customers.
Sainsbury’s in Taplow is located on Lake End Road in Maidenhead, with the Lloyds Pharmacy services operating both online and in-store.
