THE PRINCESS of Wales Kate Middleton showed off her pancake flipping skills during a visit to a Berkshire care home. 

Her Royal Highness Kate arrived at the Oxford House Nursing Home in Slough today to hear how the home delivers patient focused care to its residents.

Kate donned a long beige coat, black trousers, dark turtle neck top and a face mask as she greeted eager residents and staff.

She engaged in a table game with resident Jean, before speaking with 109-year-old Nora. 

When Nora and Kate spoke, it was revealed they shared a love of kidney beans.

Former hat designer and royalist Margaret, 87, met Kate with her daughter in law Michelle. 

Michelle said: "This is the best day of her life, it's like she's died and gone to heaven." 

HRH then accepted a pancake flipping challenge to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.

The mother-of-three Kate's pancake didn't stay intact. 

She said: "I either get pancakes stuck on the floor or on the ceiling, but the children are very well and we will be making our own pancakes this evening with the children.”

Princess of Wales visited the gardens, where she met staff at the family-run nursing home that opened its door to residents in 1980. 

Oxford House Nursing Home provides care for up to 34 residents.

During the visit, Kate was shown the use of interactive sensory table, which was purchased in 2020 as a response to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions.
