A HISTORICAL swimming pool has announced its opening date after it battled delays.
Swimmers in Chesham endured a four-month wait while the popular lido at Chesham Moor Gym and Swim centre underwent a major revamp.
Works at the 111-year-old pool are now complete, and swimmers can already book their first dip in the heated outdoor pool.
Centre manager Alex Jones said: “Chesham Town Council are pleased to announce that the outdoor heated pool reopens its doors on Friday March 17.”

To celebrate the opening, the pool will host a bacon butty morning with hot drinks on March 17 from 6.30am to 9.30am, or until supplies last.
