THE POLICE have launched an appeal after an ‘anti-social’ motorbike rider sped off.

Two concerned members of the public reported seeing a motorbike rider yesterday evening (March 26).

The rider was seen speeding without a helmet or lights on and causing anti-social behaviour, the police said.

Chesham Neighbourhood Policing Team’s Sergeant Roy Evans said on social media: “Within a few minutes, more information was passed by a third person in Amersham and the rider was located on the White Lion Road.

“The rider did not want to wait around."

In the police dash camera video footage posted on social media, the motorbike rider was seen coming out of Little Reeves Avenue on White Lion Road.

The rider first turned right towards Little Chalfont before spotting the approaching police car around 8.47pm.

When they saw the patrol car, the rider did a U-turn before speeding towards Amersham past the Audi dealership.

“I am appealing for the publics help. Do you know who this rider is? Allegedly a frequent rider in Waterside, Chesham and also in parts of Amersham.

“I would like to catch up with the rider before they hurt themselves or someone else," Sgt Evans added.
