FOUR drivers have faced fines across Buckinghamshire recently due to breaking some important driving laws.

Here are all the drivers in court recently:

A DRIVER has been fined after being caught speeding five miles over the legal limit on the A40.

Rodney Clarke, of The Pastures in High Wycombe, was caught speeding on September 5 last year in his Mercedes.

The 61-year-old was driving 35mph in a 30mph speed limit zone – namely the A40 westway flyover near London.

Clarke was fined £40 for speeding and his driving licence was endorsed with three points. He was also made to pay a £16 victim surcharge and £100 in court costs.

The total fine is one of £156 to be paid by the end of the month.

A DRIVER has been caught driving over the 30mph speed limit in North Yorkshire.

Tina Bough, of Stevenson Road, Hedgerley, was caught on July 17 last year in her Kia Sportage exceeding the speed limit.

The 58-year-old pleaded guilt to the offence earlier this month.

She was fined £250 for speeding and three points were endorsed on her licence. She was also made to pay a £100 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.

The total fine of £440 is due to be paid by the middle of next month.

A WOMAN has been fined for driving 16mph over the 70mph speed limit on the M1 motorway.

Helena Taylor, of Marlow Bottom, Buckinghamshire, was caught on September 10 last year speeding on the M2 between junctions 35 and 34 southbound.

The 56-year-old was driving 86mph in her Hyandai and was caught on an M1 speed camera.

She pleaded guilty to the offence and was made to pay a £143 speeding fine and had three points endorsed on her licence.

Taylor was also ordered to pay a £57 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.

The total fine is £290 to be paid by next month.

A DRIVER has been caught speeding eight miles over the legal limit on the A40 last year.

Alison Mendes, of Turville Valley Road, Buckinghamshire, was caught driving 38mph in a 30mph speed zone in her Tesla.

The 44-year-old was caught on a speed camera on August 15 last year near Shepherds Bush.

She pleaded guilty to the offence earlier this month and was fined £666. She was also disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending.

Three points have also been added to her licence.

Mendes was also made to pay a £266 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs. The total fine is £1,022.
