Outdoor cinema coming to Wycombe

Bucks-based charity Scannappeal is setting up an outdoor cinema in Wycombe Air Park, for one evening only in May.

On Friday, May 19, Scannappeal will be showcasing Top Gun: Maverick on the big screen.

The setting for the film has the perfect backdrop of aircraft in the background, which will hopefully make the evening a 'truly memorable experience.'

Top Gun: Maverick sees Tom Cruise reprise his role as naval pilot, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. With epic aerial footage and adrenaline-pumping action sequences, it's the ultimate movie to watch on the airfield's big screen.

Guests will receive a warm welcome with fantastic hot food for sale and a full bar on site but are also welcome to bring along picnics.

The LED screen will be positioned on the airfield, which will offer plenty of space to nestle down under the stars with blankets, bean bags, or outdoor chairs.
