Over 60 aircrafts will take to the skies over Bucks to celebrate the king's coronation this weekend.

Aircrafts including the famous Red Arrows and RAF Spitfires will fly in formation over Buckingham Palace at 2:30pm this Saturday, May 6, to mark the coronation of King Charles III.

After they've left London, the jets are expected to travel over counties including Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire to give residents all over the UK a chance to enjoy the display.

Precise details of the flyover route will not be revealed in advance due to security concerns but airspaces above Berkshire and Oxfordshire have been restricted between 2:20pm and 3pm on May 6, so this may be the best time to keep an eye on the skies in Bucks.

The temporary airspace restrictions, which have also been imposed in Norfolk and Essex, bans the operation of light aircrafts and drones during the allocated timeslots but will not affect commercial or emergency flights.

Even if you don't manage to catch a glimpse of what is sure to be an impressive display, there will be plenty of celebrations to take part in around Bucks over the coronation weekend, from May 6 to May 8.

Street parties and screenings of the Westminster Abbey ceremony are set to take place in towns and villages across the county including High Wycombe, Marlow, Princes Risborough and Chalfont St Giles.
