A new restaurant revealed its opening date in a Buckinghamshire shopping centre following a £550,000 refurbishment.

Foodies can soon enjoy Korean-inspired cooking in High Wycombe while taking a break from shopping.

Grounded Kitchen selling ‘feel good food’ announced its opening in the Eden Shopping Centre on Thursday May 4.

The 3,500 sq.ft. restaurant and takeaway opening next to TK Maxx following a more than £550,000 refurbishment to convert the site into an eatery.

The chain's 12th restaurant will boast just over 90 seats while creating 35 new jobs as part of the company’s expansion. 

The restaurant’s franchise director Ralph Llanwarne said: “We’re very excited about opening our first store in High Wycombe.

“We pride ourselves on delivering meals so tasty that people forget that our basic focus is on a healthy balance, and we are delighted that the local community will now be able to experience our Korean Nourish Bowls at Grounded Kitchen for themselves.”

Alongside the signature, made-to-order Nourish Bowl with fresh vegetables and aromatic sauces, the Grounded Kitchen menu includes Bulgogi with options to make it spicy, vegetarian or vegan depending on taste and dietary requirements, and filling SsamBaps and Korean Bao.

Diners with a sweet tooth can treat themselves to Quencher drinks, including Brain Power with blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, banana and strawberry, or the Detox Quencher with spinach, avocado, lime, basil, apple and spirulina. All drinks are served with coconut, granola, almonds, strawberries and blueberries.

Customers have the option to eat in or take away through collection or Deliveroo.

The store opening hours will be Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm.
