New food hygiene scores were handed out in Buckinghamshire, including to Costa and Brim Burger.

The Food Standards Agency has inspected eateries in Chesham, Amersham and the Chalfonts to check their hygiene standards.

The FSA visits restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, takeaways and canteens to assess the level of food hygiene.

The eateries will get a sticker they can display on their window to help customers decide where they want to eat and drink.   

Costa Coffee in Amersham and Brim Burger in Chesham were both given a five score.

What the ratings mean

 

5 – hygiene standards are very good

4 – hygiene standards are good

3 – hygiene standards are generally satisfactory

2 – some improvement is necessary

1 – major improvement is necessary

0 – urgent improvement is required
