Police were called to Totteridge Lane, Terriers End, High Wycombe and Amersham Road at 10.37pm on Saturday, October 29.

Three male teenagers aged, 15, 16, and 17 were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Alex Spencer, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This was a callous knife attack on a teenager out celebrating Halloween with his friends which resulted in life-changing injuries.

“The subsequent investigation was complex and hindered by the offender’s efforts to evade prosecution. I am therefore pleased to see the offender brought to justice.

“I am particularly pleased with the number of courageous young people who came forward and assisted with the investigation. This is a timely reminder of the consequences of youth knife violence and the importance of the community working with the police to bring prosecutions.

“I hope this will instil confidence that Thames Valley Police will leave no stone unturned when it comes to serious violence."

He was sentenced to a one-year community order.
