FRESH plans have been put forward for a 72-home development in Bourne End next door to the Hollands Farm site that is already earmarked for hundreds of new houses.

Developers Capreon have notified residents of new proposals they plan to put forward for 72 homes, comprising of a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes.

The seven-acre Jacksons Field, which is to the north of Hollands Farm, could have around 72 new homes built on it if new proposals are successful.

They previously proposed 75 homes but a previous consultation back in 2021 meant the original plans had to be 'evolved'.

The Noe family have owned the land for many years and are working with Capreon, a real estate investment firm, to bring the site forward for housing.

Capreon have delivered leaflets to hundreds of homes in Bourne End revealing their plans to build up to 72 homes and a new primary school on Hollands Farm.

A website detailing the plans for Jacksons Field has been launched, which states the new development from Princes Road will be restricted to emergency vehicles only. This will not affect existing residents who use Princes Road to access their homes

There will also be a vehicular link to the edge of the site’s southern boundary to facilitate a connection to the neighbouring Hollands Farm site too.

They are also planning cycle and pedestrian access via Bridgestone Drive, Princes Road and up to the neighbouring Hollands Farm site to encourage walking and cycling.

Jacksons Field is the northern part of a larger site that was allocated for housing in the Wycombe District Local Plan, which was adopted back in 2019. To the south is the larger parcel of land which is Hollands Farm.

Residents and community organisations like Keep Bourne End Green have previously fought against the development of Hollands Farm and Jacksons Field.
